1950's IHC R-Series 6-Wheel Trucks Brochure
There is not a date on the brochure, however, I
think it is from around 1954.

Coal Truck: RF-170 series. Black Diamond 282 cid 6-cylinder gasoline or
LPG engine.
Semi Truck: RF-190 series. Super Red Diamond 406 cid 6-cyliner engine.

Comfo-Vision Cab. One new feature is ignition key starting (the older
models, I believe, had the ignition switch on a key, but to activate
the starter you had to step on a button on the floor).
Top (Oilfield Truck): Model RF-212.
Bottom (Logging Truck) Model RF-212.
5-speed transmission, direct or overdrive in fifth. 162-horsepower
Super Red Diamond engine, gasoline or LPG.
New INTERNATIONAL-built truck engines. Super Black Diamond 282 cid
6-cylinder powers the RF-170 series.
Super Red Diamond engines power the RF-190 and RF-210. 406 and 450 cid
6-cylinder.
Positive full-pressure lubrication, positive crankcase ventilation
(PCV), and outside air intake.
International Super Black Diamond 282 cid engine.
International Super Red Diamond valve-in-head engine.
New chassis engineering from bumper to tail light.
